You can see the amount of magic points (MP) your character has in the status window.

[edit] Lose magic points

Your character will lose MP when:

• it casts a skill.

[edit] Gain magic points

Your character will gain MP when:

• it is standing, running, etc.
• it is sitting (faster than standing),
• it drinks a magic potion, see items.
• it uses a magic scroll, see items.

[edit] Reaching null

If your character reaches 0 MP it does not die but it cannot cast any more. This is dangerous if your character's life depends on casting healing skills.
