Part 1: The Battle of Blackwater City

The Ranger base in Blackwater City is under attack from both land and air. Skydive down and ensure that the base doesn't fall into enemy hands.

• Prize: 15,000 bolts (first time), 5,000 bolts (second time)

When you arrive, you will be skydiving down to the surface avoiding missiles again. Only the red ones can damage you. A series of enemies consisting of mechanical, large, and small Tyhrranoids, along with some small dropships and a few large dropships will assault you position. There are many crates with bolts and a few healing crates nearby.

Part 2: The Bridge

Skill Point: Bash the Party

Kill 20 Tyhrranoids using only your wrench in one mission. Let the saucers take out the Rangers so they don't steal your kills then take them out one by one.

The Tyhrranoid attack has been stopped in its tracks. Now it's time to go on the offensive. Lead a Ranger squad to capture a bridge leading to the Tyhrranoid base.

• Prize: 20,000 bolts (first time), 6,600 bolts (second time), 2,000 bolts (third time)

Similar enemies will again come over the bridge to attack.

Part 3: Counterattack

Capture the Tyhrranoid base and destroy all enemy forces in the area.

• Prize: 25,000 bolts (first time), 8,300 bolts (second time), 2,500 bolts (third time)

There are four mechanical Tyhrranoids defending behind some cover, and once they're defeated, two large machine-gun turrets will come online. Once those are destroyed, your squad of Rangers will take up defensive positions and multiple small dropships will attack. Then a wave of mechanical enemies, then a wave of large Tyhrranoids.

After you beat the Battle Missions, a cutscene will play where you will receive the Gravity Boots and the mission Find Skidd.

With the Gravity Boots, you can now revisit many of the previous levels to collect previously inaccessible items.

• Marcadia for Titanium Bolts #2 and #3.
• Aquatos for Titanium Bolts #4 and #5. You will also have access to the complete sewers, but you may want to wait till you have a better map of the area which you receive later in the game.
• Holostar Studios for Titanium Bolts #2 and #3.
