Run into the room where the door opens. On the right industrial fan is a BSAA Emblem. Time a shot right and you'll nab the emblem.

Climb the stairs and run to the end of the room where Excella and Wesker were observing. In the safe is a Sapphire Oval, along with some machinegun and shotgun ammo. You can also read some documents if you feel like it. Run back to where you climbed the ladder to climb more stairs to enter another room. Along the way, you can find some more machinegun ammo sitting on some machinery.

Enter the door to the next area and break the crates to your right. The crates normally have handgun and rifle ammo. Open the door to encounter some Majini about to shoot at you. Kill them all and enter the door to your left. Inside are some more crates with some more ammo and the crate next to the door always has Electric Rounds for a Grenade Launcher.

Walk toward where the Majini rushed out. A Reaper will randomly be dropped from the pod BEFORE you jump the gap or AFTER you jump the gap. Be careful as more Majini rush out of a door on the other side to shoot you. One to two Majini will charge you with Stun Rods. The Electric Rounds will help stun the Reapers and allow you to immediately shoot the white orbs on them or stop them from spewing the mist.

Eliminate all the enemies to proceed. The platform doesn't have any power to the switch. The room the Majini ran out of has the power switch inside.

Before you enter the room the Majini came from, another Reaper will drop or after you pull the lever to re-route the power. Inside the room, there is the final sniper rifle in the game, HK PSG-1. Along with some crates holding ammo, a hand grenade, and a Red Herb.

Run to the lever and operate the switch. A Fat Man Majini and his two skinny friends will ride the platform to attack you. Shoot them before they get to your side, unless you feel like dancing with a Fat Man and his buddies. The Fat man Majini will drop a Jewel Bangle on the opposite side if you kill him while he's riding the platform. Either you or your partner will ride the platform to the other side. While the other operates the lever. A group of Majini with riot shields, guns, and Stun Rods will attack you on the opposite side. Two to three of them will sprout their head tentacles. Activate the lever to bring your partner over.

Two RPG Majini will shoot rockets at you. There are some metal boards to give you some cover. There are some Majini who will run at you. Be cautious as they will start puffing up and blow up like a grenade and take out chunks of your health. One of the RPG Majini will sprout a head tentacle if you kill him. You can snipe the RPG Majini (one of them has a metal helmet giving him protection from headshots). Inside the room, there are two riot shield Majini who will turn also sprout head tentacles along with another RPG Majini. On the dashboard and desk inside the room, is a Green Herb and a Royal Necklace.

Enter the room and run down the hallway into another room just like when you fought the U-8 Uroboros spider boss. Pull the levers together and the platform will rise. Later, Majini, will try to slow down the platform shoot the Majini in the middle pulling the lever slowing down your platform.

If you shoot him right, you can also nab the second BSAA Emblem in the chapter.

Another group will try to slow down your platform again. Just walk up to the edge of the platform and aim down as the group is lower than you. As you kill that group and are at the flight of stairs, more Majini are running down the stairs to greet you. Eliminate them and proceed forward.

Enter the door at the end of the hall to enter a mining area of some ruins. The BSAA Emblem is hidden on the wall of the elevator shaft. Re-route power to the lever to activate the elevator. You and your partner will split up to get in to the building to activate the bridge controls. Whoever goes into the elevator will have to fight some Beta Lickers the appear. The other will have to cover them.

However, Lickers may occasionally ignore the one who rode the elevator if you make too much noise and attack you. As your partner runs across the walkway, Lickers will crawl out from holes in the ruins. Proceed to shoot them down. Your partner will run to the end and have to push a heavy box to enter the building. You will have to distract the Lickers to give your partner ample time to push the box and enter the building to open the door from the other side.

After dispatching the mobs, activate the bridge controls. Inside the lockers inside will be a First Aid Spray, if you needed it, Magnum rounds, and a Golden Chalice.

Above the entrance to the ruins is a Topaz Brilliant gem if you shoot it.

Wesker and Jill Boss Fight[edit]

The entire fight with Wesker will be as he says- 7 Minutes. Delay him or damage him enough to make him leave early.

There will be health items at the base of the stairs if you need it.

Before you fight them, to the right is a locked door. Try to open it. A cutscene will play and Wesker will shoot you and follow you. Run deep inside until you run into a burial chamber. There is a treasure chest that holds a Magnum, the Lightning Hawk, along with some Sapphire and Emerald jewels. You'll need Sheva to help you open it.

All you have to do is either avoid Wesker or damage him to make him leave. Hiding behind walls and then surprise him with a few rounds or shells will do the trick. Don't straight up shoot him when he can see you. He will dodge and if you keep shooting at him he will eventually combo is way to knock you down that deals significant damage if he hits you.


After 7 minutes or if you made him leave early, a cutscene will play and you have to free Jill from Wesker's mind control thing on her chest.

Depending on how you made Wesker leave there will be the gem, Heart of Africa at the center of the stairs.

Chris will have to entreat Jill a couple times until she is stunned a bit. One of you will have to restrain her so the other can shoot at her Mind Control on her chest to weaken it and then throw her to the ground. Chris will then have to rush over and pry it off in rapid buttons presses. After she tries to get up, she will try to knock Chris and Sheva down. Immediately dodge with the correct button press. Jill may climb up the stone pillars don't run up the stairs to chase her. Wait for her in the center of the room. She may also use her dual machineguns to shoot around the room; Keep moving to avoid getting shot or hide behind one of the pillars. Repeat the process until the Mind Control piece comes off.

A faster way to pry the device off, is to use a high powered precise shot weapon like a fully upgraded damage SIG pistol, S75 rifle, or a magnum to deal more damage to the device. Be careful, however, because if you miss you might hit Jill and kill her if you miss to often and fail. Using this method, you will have to pry the device two to three times.

After successfully freeing Jill, you will chase after Wesker to his ship. In the next exciting episode of RESIDENT EVIL 5!
