River City Girls Zero (新・熱血硬派 くにおたちの挽歌 Shin Nekketsu Kouha: Kunio-tachi no Banka?, "The New Hot-Blooded Tough Guy: The Eulogy of Kunio and Co.") is a Beat 'em up game in the Kunio-kun series developed by Almanic and published by Technos Japan for the Super Famicom. It was originally released only in Japan; however, it was finally released in the US in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch with a new localization and cutscenes. This game served as the inspiration for River City Girls, being the first time Misako and Kyoko appeared as playable characters alongside their boyfriends, Kunio and Riki.
