Controls can be configured in the menu. These are the default controls.

Control	Usage
	Move your character up, down, left, and right.
	Attack, talk or interact with people or objects, confirm menu selections, and progress dialogue.
	Use a technique, or cancel menu items.
	Display the item ring.
	Display menus.
	Display storage.
	Switch characters. Also switches between characters in the menu, such as in the equipment screen.
or	When displaying the item ring, press to switch between character rings.
