Carthage is a kingdom that branched off from the ancient Phoenician empire, in time quickly becoming a strong civilization itself. It is led by Dido, the founder and first Queen of Carthage. The Carthaginian civilization obviously favors the sea, being able to build up a strong coastal empire. Their unique units are quite capable on their own, but the Carthage's unique ability to cross Mountain tiles can make them surprisingly swift fighters.
