Being a nomadic barbarian tribe, the Hunnic civilization is a surprising addition to the game. The Huns are one of the most well-known groups of barbarians in world history. It is led by Attila the Hun, who led many battles against the Romans. The Huns are obviously a civilization focused in warring, having unique components that all benefit an aggressive playstyle.

  • 300% combat bonus vs cities, no defensive terrain bonuses, 33% combat penalty on defense, limited visibility, free Cover I promotion, can only attack cities
  • Prerequisites: Bronze Working technology
  • Obsolete with: Physics technology
  • Upgrades into: Trebuchet
  • Replaces Spearman
  • Acts as siege unit instead of a melee unit, higher cost.
