He’s the world’s fastest, hypersonic hedgehog!

With a strong love of freedom, the only thing Sonic hates is oppression. Despite his short temper, deep down he’s a really nice guy who is 100% committed to helping those in trouble whenever and wherever he can.

Sonic’s adventure begins just as he is returning home from a long journey...

Light-Speed Dash/Attack
with Light-Speed Shoes/Ancient Light
  • Spin Attack: An attack that turns sonic into a ball in mid-air and is used by just jumping.
  • Homing Attack: A jump attack where Sonic locks on to nearby targets and strikes them. If no enemies are within range, use this move to have Sonic perform a Jump Dash.
  • Spin Dash: Whether stopped or on the move, this starts Sonic spinning in place. When you release, he will dash off in a burst of speed. Make sure to aim and steer him.
  • Light-Speed Dash/Attack: This move requires the Light-Speed Shoes. This move is used to follow a trail of rings, but additionally with the Ancient Light Sonic will be able to attack multiple enemies at once.

Objective[edit]

The objective of each stage is to get to the capsule to clear the stage. Sometimes, objects other than the capsule will be used as the goal.

  • Emerald Coast: the goal will be Miles "Tails" Prower recovering from a recent plane crash.
  • Windy Valley, Casinopolis and Icecap: a Chaos Emerald will be the goal.
  • Lost World and Final Egg: a picture will be the goal.

Upgrades[edit]

Light-Speed Shoes[edit]

SA Sonic upgrade Light-Speed Shoes.png

The Light-Speed Shoes allow Sonic to use the Light-Speed Dash, which lets Sonic run at light-speed on a trail of rings.

They become available after completing Windy Valley. They can be found in the Station Square Sewer which is located in the backside area of Station Square.

Note: This upgrade is required.

Crystal Ring[edit]

SA Sonic upgrade Crystal Ring.png

The Crystal Ring makes charge-up time of Light-Speed Shoes shorter by cutting the time in half.

It can be found in the second floor of Station Square Hotel. You will need the Light-Speed Shoes (there will be a trail of ring where you will have to use the Light-Speed Dash) to get into a room where the doors close quickly. The Crystal Ring can also be obtained through a glitch; if you are fast enough you can actually get Sonic into the room before the doors close.

Ancient Light[edit]

File:SA Sonic upgrade Ancient Light.png

Allows Sonic to use the 'Light Speed Attack'. Works the same way as 'Light Speed Dash', but use near an enemy to attack multiple enemy's at the same time. Found next to Angel Island (Sitting on a rock).
