Add Sega Genesis buttons
This page needs images of controls for the Sega Genesis from the controller buttons category to make learning the controls easier. If a set of controller button images is available for this system, please add them. If a set of controller images isn't available, it might need to be brought up on the forums.
- Directional Button (D-Button)
- Press right or left to move Sonic in those directions. Press and hold in either direction to speed up.
- When Sonic is standing still, press up or down to see the top or bottom section of the screen. (This won't work is Sonic is already at the highest or lowest level.)
- While running, press down to roll. You can use this to break some walls, destroy enemies, open video monitors, etc.
- On the level select screen, press up and down to navigate through the selections. On the Sound Select option, press left and right to move though the soundtracks.
- Start Button
- At the title screen, press to start the game.
- Press to pause the game; press again to resume playing.
- Buttons A, B, and C
- Perform the Super Sonic Spin Attack. (Jump)
- In the Special Stage, press to jump.
