Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)/Dusty Desert

These are the ruins of old Soleanna. Similar to Sandopolis Zone from Sonic & Knuckles. On the Japanese site, there are screens of Amy in this stage. Shadow plays through the opening of the stage in a hovercraft. Recent footage also shows that Sonic will actually carry Elise while travelling through the level. Sonic's Story (2nd Stage)

After rescuing Elise from the clutches of Dr. Eggman, Sonic, Tails and Elise come across some ancient ruins in hopes of eluding Eggman's forces.

Shadow's Story (Final Stage)

Shadow, Rouge and Omega follow Mephiles to the ruins where he is searching for the Chaos Emerald hidden there in hopes of beating him to it.

After meeting up with each other, Silver and Amy search the ruins in hopes of finding who they are looking for.
