Seize control of the Lava Observatory Room[edit]

"Just me an' the health droid..."

From the starting area, take the door on the right and follow the corridor (the left door is locked), eliminating resistance as you go. The Super Battle Droids' wrist rockets are very useful in cramped areas, so this may prove difficult.

At the end of the first section of hallway is the other side of the locked door and an access panel. Shooting the access panel unlocks the door, allowing you to bypass the first section of the hallway if you wind up respawning and making your fight easier.

Fight your way to the Command Post, stand near the health droid to replenish if needed, and capture the control point.

Take control of the Walkway[edit]

Be sure to take out this sniper before it takes you out.

Go outside, take the walkway, and get to the Command Post on the other side. While capturing, make sure to kill the droid snipers in the perch (refer to screenshot), and watch out for reinforcements that arrive out of the far door.

Battle your way onto the Collection Base and take control of the Overlook CP[edit]

Blast this turret from outside its range.

Same old, same old. If you're playing on Elite, watch out for pesky ceiling-mounted turrets on the way to the CP; otherwise, your only concern is the odd droid that pops up along the way.

Destroy the Battle Droid Prototype schematics[edit]

Grenades do this job well enough.

This is where it starts getting interesting. The schematics are actually projected on two tables on opposite sides of the central enclosed area of the map; the fastest way to get there from the Overlook CP is to climb the set of stairs there and then descend another set. The first table is located right as you enter the room, so use grenades, or rockets to take it out. Then, cross the room to get to the other one and repeat.

Retrieve the Orbital Strike Beacon dropped by your ally, in the Conference Room[edit]

Here's where the beacon is...
...and that's where it needs to go.

They might be your Vader's Fist allies, but they can be so incompetent. From where the second schematics table used to be, take the small door to the right. That's the Conference Room, and the beacon is located on the far side of the long table. Pick it up, and you'll be ordered to set it on the antenna array. Go back to the Overlook Command Post, and walk along the large antenna in the center. Just walk to the end and the beacon will be set.

Clear the Antenna Array[edit]

Simply get back to where the yellow arrow is to accomplish this objective!

Kill Gizor Delso[edit]

Be sure to target lock this guy.

And now for one of the most difficult objectives in the game. You're facing not only Gizor Delso (an incredibly overpowered Geonosian hero), but battle droids and Geonosian grunts will start spawning in the area and swarming your troops. As you probably know already, it's useless to try to whittle down the enemy's numbers in situations like this. Just ignore most of the Geonosians and all of the droids (the former sometimes shoot you with their high-damage sonic cannons, so kill them in that case) and focus on Delso. It's advisable to put a target lock on this guy so you don't lose him when he flies (which he does often).

That'll teach them to start another droid rebellion.

The only three classes that can take out Delso in a reasonable amount of time are the Stormtrooper, Engineer, and Dark Trooper; however, that last class is so weak that you won't last more than a few seconds after spawning. If you've unlocked the Frenzy medal and the elite assault rifle that comes with it, by all means use that, but it's also a good choice to use the Engineer's shotgun since it's hard to miss with such a weapon. Delso is pretty tough, but sustained fire will eventually bring him down.

Be sure to watch the ending cinematic for this one; that Orbital Strike Beacon you placed is doing its thing, and the mining facility is being bombed to rubble. Also, you won't be dealing with droids anymore in this campaign!
