Stage 7-1[edit]

  • There are a lot of things going on in this seemingly simple stage. The only enemies are Dragon Men and Dragon Heads, which require entirely different methods to defeat. You should always have your sword drawn.
  • Setting foot on the moving platforms gives you access to an incredible number of bonus points, and also triggers the appearance of several Extra Balls. Collect as many as you can without putting yourself in danger.
  • In the center island, a free Power Ball is hidden. Collect it, as this is a rare opportunity to destroy a lot of enemies without needing to collect or cash in a number of money bags.

Stage 7-2[edit]

  • The biggest threat in this stage is the fact that so many of the enemies can kill you simply by touching you. The Dragon Men and Dragon Heads don't have to attack you to do you harm here. The Princess Cats don't help much either. Keep moving and steer clear of the enemy.
  • A bonus room can be accessed from the blocks in the upper right corner, but don't stay in one place trying to collect the key for too long or you will become a sitting duck. The bonus room is the icy kind with the two rows of bullets.
  • Focus on staying alive, but purchase a Power Ball if you can.

Stage 7-3[edit]

  • This will be another intense action stage, with Dragon Men, Wild Cats, and hopping Isoginchacks moving throughout the stage. The Isoginchack shoot killer beams at you, but you can reflect them if you face them and have the Mirror.
  • There is little else to attend to in this stage and the enemies don't seem as intent on chasing you as they were in the previous stage. You might be able to bolster your supply of money bags. But if you manage to get to six, don't use them up here! Save them for the next stage.
  • Even at this level of the game, don't take the pits for granted. One wrong move and you can fall in, so be very careful maneuvering around them.

Stage 7-4[edit]

  • Get ready for a fight. One of the enemies here, the Dragon Heads, will be impervious to your attacks, and all you can do is avoid them. Another enemy, the Dragons, will take so many hits to defeat, and with no blocks in the room, you have no cover from them. The only safe bet is to attack the Dragon Men with your sword as soon as you see them.
  • With no blocks in sight, this is the perfect room to hide the very last secret treasure. The Beads are hidden in a tile just south of the door. It's in line with the column that adorns the right side of the door. Punch a few tiles below it, and the Beads will appear. Without them, the Hakaidans in the next stage will be invisible.
