Mario is the star of the game. He has basic jumping ability. In Doki Doki Panic, he was known as Imajin.

Luigi can jump higher than the other three. In Doki Doki Panic, he was known as Mama.

Toad can pull out grass faster than the other three, but has poor jump ability. In Doki Doki Panic, he was known as Papa.

Princess Peach can hover in approximately 2.5 seconds before landing on the ground. In Doki Doki Panic, she was known as Lina.
