The first world is the Grass Land.

  • Shy Guys, Tweeters, and Ninji make their first appearance. The first boss past the clouds is Pink Birdo.

  • Pidgit, Beezos, and Snifits make their first debut, while Ninji and Shy Guys return. There are two vases: the first has a Tweeter and a 1-UP Mushroom, and the second has a key to the locked door. The boss is Pink Birdo.

[edit] World 1-3

  • Outside by the waterfalls and the grass are Shy Guys, Snifits, Ninji, and Tweeters, while Trouters first appear. Inside, Sparks make their first debut. The first boss is Mouser.
