Weapon types[edit]

  • Ballistic weapons rely on a direct kinetic impact to inflict damage or knock back. They can be deflected by armor.
  • Beams are large continuous-fire weapons; their damage is spread across it's firing time, and are not affected by reflective armor.
  • Lasers are small energy weapons, which ricochet off reflective armor.

These are modified version of beams designed for use on spinal mounts. They inflict less damage, but fire more often.

Mines[edit]

Minelayers can drop mines in combat, which detonate when enemy ships pass. In addition, minelayers can clear enemy minefields as well. Each deployment releases 2 mines.
