Walkthrough[edit]

When I first read this article and it's subpages, the first thing that stuck out was Walkthrough. Given the multitude of quests, missions, guides possibilities, etc. Writing a walkthrough would probably take way too much space. Instead, it would probably be more appropriate to refer it to other resources that have already covered 5 years worth of content. Because quite honestly, this Wiki would probably double in size for a "walkthrough" from this game. Any thoughts? --Charitwo 14:10, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

We aim to have a walkthrough for every game, and not link out to other ones (which are often not freely-licensed, and can't be edited). I've got no qualms if a walkthrough for this is large. ;-) --DrBob Needcat icon.png0005.svg 17:04, 2 September 2007 (CDT)
ffxiclopedia is licensed under GFDL, so we can incorporate any section of it. The question is, whether we want to follow the same format that they use to divide the missions and quests, or do we want to develop a different one (which, honestly, would be quite hard to do.) The other option would be to offer a similar partnership to them that we have with bulbapedia, but I don't see how that would work unless we sub-domain them. Not sure if you've seen it, but MapleStory has a rather large guide as well. Might have some interesting "suggestions". -- Prod (Talk) 18:04, 2 September 2007 (CDT)
