Getting Started is more practical.[edit]

The page here should be MapleStory/Getting Started because it is the actual "how-to-play" in the game. It is the introduction to the game, whereas MapleStory/Quests is not important because there isn't an actual major storyline in the Quests section. I agree that Getting Started seems like the best place for someone to start. For one, it encapsulates the login/registration process, character creation, and just before entering the game (which makes me think: we are missing a section on how to choose from all the new character classes). Quests is less important because it is just an info page for some of the gameplay mechanics/mode differences (e.g. jump quest vs. accompaniment). If the start of the game was still linear it would make sense, but it's not, since people can start all over the place now... I think (I might be jumping the gun here). Are brand new players still limited to the main four classes, since the big bang? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:11, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

All our guides link to Getting Started and Walkthrough as separate entities. Getting started is "setup" and walkthrough is the content of the game. CN also links to them separately. The start of the game is pretty linear these days. You have a set sequence of quests you complete to start the game. Lots of the areas effectively have a "story mode" where you continue through a set of quests that reveals the history of the area. -- Prod (talk) 00:54, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Much better[edit]

NotMyHandle, this is much better than the redirect to Quests :) Thanks for doing that :D Uglyface86 (talk) 10:30, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

No problem! I felt like this was the best solution for a guide like us. This is the easiest way to consolidate all 20+ classes' training grounds sections. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:51, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I've edited a little of the training guides, as Party Quests are the fastest way to grind the characters to level 200 :D Uglyface86 (talk) 08:12, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
