To the anonymous contributor who changed "The advantage of a Human Valkyrie over a Dwarven Valkyrie" to "The advantage of a Dwarven Valkyrie over a Human Valkyrie":

If you read the rest of the paragraph carefully, you will see that I am actually saying that Human Valkyries benefit from being free to kill the monsters in the Gnomish Mines, which are not particularly tough and are a useful source of food, experience, weapon skills and equipment. Whether a Dwarven Valkyrie or a Human Valkyrie is better is a matter of opinion on which informed Nethackers may disagree - however, your change made no sense in isolation, so I have changed it back.

If you would like the page to recommend Dwarven Valkyries, you will need to change the whole paragraph and not just the first sentence. For example, you might discuss encouraging your pet to kill the gnomes and dwarves for you, or ways to spot which dwarves have good armour (if you only kill a few peaceful monsters your god won't be too annoyed). You might also mention that when you reach Minetown you will have a lower experience level because you haven't been slaughtering gnomes and dwarves, and will therefore be able to buy protection more cheaply. IMHO, that is a more substantial advantage of the Mines inhabitants being friendly than the fact that they won't kill you, given that we are talking about a Valkyrie here :-) You will also need to change "Lawful Human Valkyrie" to "Lawful Dwarven Valkyrie" in the previous paragraph.

Basically, what I am saying is that after changing a page it's a good idea to read it through and be sure that it still makes sense!
