This page could stand some updating. It has no 4th Gen Pokémon in it whatsoever, and I'm really not that knowledgeable about breeding. It would be much appreciated if someone could do this, or is someone could help me do it. Thanks. Myth 19:41, 18 June 2007 (CDT)

I added some 4th gen stuff to the page, but I strongly feel like the Ruby/Sapphire guide to breeding is a much better guide, and the two should be merged. I didn't want to add identical information to two separate pages, so I left some information out. They should be merged! PlanetX56 02:25, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- There's already a merge tag on Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire/Breeding, so I don't think you're alone. Go ahead and merge them if it will make them better. — najzereT 18:12, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Question about breeding[edit]
Ok, in one of the sections, this line comes up: "If both parents know a specific move, then the baby will hatch knowing that move." We need to check this because if this is true, then 2 Event Pokémon of the same Species and has the same Event Move should be then able to pass on to the child that Event Move, and that is not what is supposed to happen.
