Pending tasks for Super Mario 64
  • Needs more images in the walkthrough to reach Completion Stage 4.

ScreenShots[edit]

I was wondering if anyone would like some screenshots, and I'm not completly sure of the legal standing of screenshots in games. But I'll take them of every level for the guide if possible. Maybe one outside the level (showing the enterence to it) and one inside, and perhaps a couple around for tricky parts? Cause images are very useful in this guide. Style[edit]

I'm proposing a set style for the level guide. The think each star should be listed as a sub section (with two ='s). I think it is clearest that way. Any comments?

Getting every coin[edit]

I'm considering writing up how to get every coin in the game. Should I put the complete coin list for each stage in their respective pages, or should I create a new page? I prefer to do the former because I think that it is cleaner.--DukeRuckley 07:42, 7 February 2007 (CST)

I haven't played for a while, but getting every coin is just like an extension of the getting 100 coins star, so I'd say put it on each page. -- Prod (Talk) 10:21, 7 February 2007 (CST)

Table of Contents[edit]

The current ToC needs some clean-up and unfortunately I don't have much experience in HTML. The section titled walkthrough is slightly off center and doesn't really look that great... Would someone mind just fixing that for me? I plan on working on the rest of the guide as I find time.--DukeRuckley 15:16, 26 February 2007 (CST)

lol, after undoing the table and reestablishing the divs, the exact same problem that DR complained about exists... I tried. Procyon 19:59, 26 February 2007 (CST)
Hehe, thanks. It does look a little better. Much better than I could manage.--DukeRuckley 17:04, 27 February 2007 (CST)
Well, I don't like how the rows look atm, and the numbering isn't very useful, since its repeated (we'd have to implement li tags again, or change to bullets). --Notmyhandle 17:27, 27 February 2007 (CST)
Bringing up something that was mentioned earlier, I don't think numbers are even required (after a few stars, you can do them in any order). -- Prod (Talk) 17:32, 27 February 2007 (CST)

Well, I've updated it based on a different game's ToC layout. I think it looks a lot better now. I kept the numbering system for the levels because they are numbered in the game itself (I just have to go back and check to see if they are in the correct order).--DukeRuckley 16:28, 13 March 2007 (CDT)

Navigation screwed up on the Secrets page?[edit]

So on the Secrets page, the footer navbar should say that the next topic is the walkthrough, but instead it provides a link back to the front page of the walkthrough, creating a sort of endless loop from which light and time cannot escape from. Can't work out why it's doing that at all...Megaminxwin (talk) 14:28, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

No one added the nextpage parameter, that's why. I added it. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 15:13, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Ah... I'm new to the whole wiki-markup-whatever-it's-called thing, so that's why I didn't fix it. Thanks for that! Megaminxwin (talk) 04:15, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Remove the pending task?[edit]

I've gone through and added heaps of coin locations and stuff, and that task seems pretty complete to me. Should we remove it?--Megaminxwin (talk) 12:36, 31 October 2013 (UTC)

Sure. I've removed it. I assume someone will come along some day and do a complete coin list/map. But what we have no appears usefully complete. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 15:57, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
