Type 2-way Capture Point (CP)

Fastlane is a 2-way CP map. All of its CPs are open air and arena-style, similar to the middle point of cp_granary. It is one of 3 community maps released officially by Valve.

Strategies[edit]

The midpoint rests in a broken-down cabin. It can be accessed by both bases from two indoor routes and one outdoor path, and contains the second forward spawn. One indoor path right in front of the first forward spawn, close to the second point. The second leads to a series of corridors and bridges that span the valley below.

The second point lays atop a flat platform. In addition to the paths leading to the midpoint, it contains two sliding gates that leads into the base, a smaller open exit and battlements. Going into the base itself, from the gates, one path leads directly to the point while the other let's attacker enter the point from the right (in the defender's perspective. The smaller ground entrance is longer and exits onto the point from the opposite side. The battlements also lead to a long corridor that ends on a suspended platform above the point, and can be accessed from the last point with explosive jumps or the staircase.
