The walkthrough for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game is split up by scene, as depicted in the game's intermediary cutscenes. Some "scenes" contain multiple zones (a.k.a. levels or stages), and are separated by headers that describe the section.
Choose how many players will be playing, pick your favorite character, and play through the game.
The arcade version has Easy, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard difficulty switches. The number of enemies increase depending on the setting and how many players are currently playing. Very Hard with 4 Players is the maximum amount (with this setting, due to having so many sprites on the screen there can be CPU performance lag).
Note that the NES version and the Atari ST port of it have an extra snow level. This walkthrough uses the NES version's stages, so the third level should be skipped by arcade players.
