A template to display a release date for a game, along with a pretty picture of a country's flag or a system icon (if appropriate). All templates referencing this documentation are used similarly, and all will automatically categorise by the specified date.

Due to the introduction of {{sys}}, the listing of consoles in the third parameter to these templates is inadvisable: use {{sys}} instead.

Note that fictitious dates have been used in the examples below to stop this documentation getting categorised.
