Castle of Dr Brain maze 1.jpg

The door at the end of the hall leads into a small stone room. I hope you're not claustrophobic! This small room is an elevator that must be navigated through a multiple story maze to the next area. Every difficulty level will give you a view of the maze through the window on the right, but the map on the left side will not always be available. Novice and Standard difficulties will give you a map on the left screen, while it will be dark and blank on Expert difficulty. The map in Novice difficulty will draw itself as you explore, while the map in Standard difficulty will only show your location within the maze.

The elevator car is controlled either by arrow keys or by clicking on the red arrow keys on the console below the map. The large arrows on the outside control motion forward and backward as well as orientation. Hitting the left or right arrows will turn the car clockwise or counterclockwise, and you can only move the direction you are facing or the direction directly behind you. The smaller circular buttons with arrows printed on them allow you to move vertically when there is an opening above you. Hitting them any other time will cause the car to bump into the ceiling.

On every difficulty setting, the maze is the same. These are the directions to take to get to the end of the maze:
