The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim/Delayed Burial

Delayed Burial is an optional quest in the Dark Brotherhood questline. You discover this quest at Loreius Farm, which is located directly north of Whiterun, on the road. The quest is not available if you complete With Friends Like These..., because Cicero will have already moved on from the farm.

There are two possible outcomes on this quest.

Helping Cicero

To help Cicero, speak with the farmer, and use the persuade option to get him to assist.

Cicero will reward you with Gold for convincing the farmer.

Helping Loreius

To help Loreius, speak with the patrolling guard, and report Cicero for a crime. The guard will arrest Cicero and take him away.

Loreuis will also reward you will also give a sloghtly lower amount of gold. However, Loreius and his family will be murdered a few days layer.

When you encounter Cicero at the sanctuary later, he will be angry on his first encounter, but it otherwise has no impact on his interactions.
