This mission takes place during dusk. There are a choice of two insertion points; the first is a side road a bit more distant, while the other is closer to an area covered by rebels.
Reach the square[edit]
The square is reachable by going through a few destroyed buildings. The plaza before the square has the most enemies, including a machinegun nest. However, loyalists will also be able to provide additional cover.
If you chose insertion point B, you can flank the machine gun nest by moving around to the right of the plaza.
Cover emergency extraction[edit]
The square has three nearby anti-air turrets that prevent extraction by helicopter. They need to be destroyed. When they are down, a helicopter will land on the roof to retrieve the journalist.
Two trucks will arrive from the street near the journalist's hideout. They can be flanked by a single individual hiding in the alley behind the house and shooting the soldiers in the truck as they are driving by. They can also be sniped before they exit the vehicles.
Reach extraction point[edit]
Head to the extraction point through the alley.
Before the extraction point is a large number of rooftop snipers.
At the extraction point, enemies will throw smoke grenades to cover their approach. They will arrive in groups with long range weaponry. Take cover within the terrain surrounding the church, and watch for enemies coming from the left or right entrances. A sniper will occasionally appear in the building directly opposite of the church.
After holding out for a few minutes, a truck will arrive to extract your team.
