The abyss is filled with magma, so Tomba loses an extra life if he falls down into it. The hot ceiling deals damage to Tomba during contact.

Hidden Village[edit]

Hidden Village can be accessed in two ways; clearing the "Leaf Butterflies" event or finding the passage in the Lava Caves. It's a small village with only a couple of inhabitants and home to Yan. The village is not affected by the curse that lies on the Lava Caves beneath it.

Mushroom Forest[edit]

Mushroom Forest has two main areas; the foreground and the background. This area will be visited frequently initially to complete events that require the laughing and crying statuses.

Haunted Mansion is located right beside Baccus Village. Due to the curse of an Evil Pig it is left dark, inhabited by Kokka Birds, and has a thunderstorm surrounding it.

Baccus Lake[edit]

Baccus Lake is located just past Haunted Mansion. It is used for a single event event only. There are only two locations within. The first screen is the main area which is essentially a wooden pathway, and the second is a small wharf looking towards the lake. The lake itself is never actually accessed.

After the Evil Pig is defeated it returns to it's original vibrant appearance.

Trick Village[edit]

Trick Village is located just beyond Ol' Pond. The village is initially submerged underwater until an Evil Pig is defeated later in the game. The 10,000 Year-Old Man lives here as well as schools of vicious piranha-like fish.
