Mindy will introduce you to Beverly Hills, a place where the wealthy live. They hate skateboards and skaters but look out for Daewon Song, another pro skater who'll be in the area.
The tasks here in Beverly Hills are a little harder to do and the locals will start asking you to combine tricks. Manualing is by the far the best way to combine tricks and rack up those points. There'll also be new tasks in the style of collecting letters. They'll be the words "Skate" and "Combo" to collect. Just collect those letters in order, and they're usually in a line or pattern, so they won't be dotted all over the city.
The best places I've found you do tricks are near the Hollywood entrance. Thats side of town has a lot of ramps and the beds in the middle of the roads are great for grinding on and gathering speed. It's worth noting that you can also get onto the Gas Station roof by getting some air on the ramp at the back of the station.
In Paul Rodriguez's task in Hollywood you could perform the blue touch special, halfway during completing the tasks in Beverly Hills you'll unlock the red touch special. The red touch special normally accumulates points quicker then the blue touch special and they are generally better tricks to watch and harder tricks to perform.
Daewon Song should appear after most of the tasks are completed. He'll give you another $1000 towards the park after you collect some of his signs. After that it's now time to head to Downtown on Tony's grinding tour bus.
All tasks reward you with $250 unless noted.
