Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a 2009 third-person shooter based on the live action film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Sometimes the game's title is proceeded by the tag, "The Game", which remains omitted on the game's box artwork, but appears on the official homepage. The game was simultaneously released on seven platforms: the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were developed by Luxoflux, which was ported to the Windows by Beenox Studios, while the PlayStation 2 and Wii versions were developed by Krome Studios. A PlayStation Portable version was developed by Savage Entertainment. All versions were released on June 23, 2009, one day before the film's release in the United States. Australia received the game one day later, and it hit stores in Europe on June 26, 2009.
