Hi again Isaac, another thing. In the latest patches area, are you sure that Hong Kong MS has the Perion Excavation site and Ruins? And another thing, from what I hear from rumors in Basil the upgraded world maps, monster identifier, Showa or the new NLC area is going to be release di n the next patch. Even though after the event, everyone can enter the mansion BUT does the patch tell you WHEN the event is gunna end (unlike the christmas and the maple anniversary event). Generally speaking, I overhear from some people that the Nexon staff really needs cash and they're planning to wait until they got enough so then they end the patch. I dont know if this is true but it's gonna take a while b4 it ends :(. So I rekon the upgrades we have now are literally useless coz there are no quests for non NX users as far as I'm concerned except for the malady quest where the halloween candy drop rate is EXTREMELY RARE (not much point in hunting 4 them) and also the new pots that are introduced? They are only obtainable within the mansion. I rekon its so unfair for all the non NX users to be expelled away from the mansion T~T and who knows how long the event will take? Also just 2 let you know, a poll was conducted in the Basilmarket website (i think) and literally 1300 out of 1500 people reckoned the patch was crap and useless. A lot of people I knew complained on how MSEA got the 'good' stuff in their latest patch while GlobalMS got the 'crappy' stuff. Well I'm just telling you this to outline the non NX users 'fiasco' towards the patch release. Ok I believe u, I never thought there is a boss in that PQ coz I've only heard about it. By the way, I play a bit of ChinaMS and mostly GlobalMS and both don't have the Nihal Desert region yet. Bob the snail

When you do get Bob's Snail Shell, you have the choice of three people to give it to (Jay, Grendel, and the Rememberer). Don't give it to the Rememberer, he takes the shell and gives you five defames. Way too late, like 15 minutes after the patch I gave it to the rememberer. xD There's actually around 8 quests related to it, you can take bob to Jay, Rememberer, Gwin, Grendel, Dances with Balrog, Bruce, etc. Pretty ridiculous. O_O--IsaacGS 17:09, 20 September 2007 (CDT)

Hi again, I have one question to ask you. There has been a debate in my guild in Broa whether Amoria might be part of Masteria. Cleric Buold Guide

Just to let you know, quite a lot of people do max holy arrow and use it as their main attack instead of magic claw because of its KB. Plus heal can't really damage demonic monsters (eg. Dark Leattys and Dark Jr Yetis) so it would be useful to max holy arrow. Its true that Shining Ray will replace Holy arrow but then like I said, you're gonna have to endure 40 levels of training. Anyway the skills really depend on the players style of training. What you put on there is telling everyone that Holy Arrow is literally useless. I'm just pointing this out and telling you that Holy arrow is useful in certain situations, I own a high level cleric myself and I regard Holy Arrow very useful in most situations. --Narutofanz 00:57, 29 August 2007 (CDT)

reverting lots of consecutive vandalism

Just thought I'd point you to a nifty little feature. On a page where a user has made numerous vandalisms simultaneously, just go into the history and click the [rollback] link next to the last edit. It will revert the page back to the previous version not by that user. The rollback link can also be found on a user's contributions page as well. I do not know... I saw Coke Town monsters in mob.wz files from Europe, Global and Thailand versions. But it does not mean that it is not exclusive right now. If it will be released in the other versions then we can say that it is not exclusive.Vigilium 08:44, 13 August 2007 (CDT)

Patrolling edits

Hi IsaacGS. Since you're a sysop now, would you mind officially patrolling the MapleStory edits? I'm sure you do already, but what I'm asking is that you look for unpatrolled edits in recent changes (they're denoted by an exclamation mark to the left of the row), view the diff (using the "last" link), and then click "Mark as patrolled" at the top of the diff once you've looked it over. This means that I won't have to look through so many MapleStory edits (of which there are a lot, and I don't understand any of them), and I won't be officially sanctioning any MapleStory edits which are wildly factually incorrect any more. Bosses

Jr. Balrog and Zombie Mushmom can be Sleepywoods Boss. Mushmom can be Henesys Boss. Crimson Balrog would be the only one that could go either as Ellinia or Orbis... Tarot Cards

I think JapanMS was the first version to get Tarot Cards... I can't remember when they got them, but It was sometime between January 2007 and April 2007. Might have been before Kaede Castle came out. Valentine PQ

It is just a normal quests that's shown on the quest list, but to do the quest, it require you be in a party of 2, one male and one female (similar to amoria quest for couples). I've inclined to add it to the list until the final part was released, which bring you to a special map to kill a boss monster. The quests take place in KFT. This is a brief overview:

• Part 1 (in TMS and CMS since sometime in August)
  • Talk to an npc with a party of 2 to accept the quest
  • Hunt drops from monster
  • Talk to the npc again to get the reward
  • Talk to another npc with a party of 2 and answer 4 poem question currectly
  • Get the reward and first part is done

• Part 2 (in TMS since last patch, I think CMS is getting this in upcoming patch too?)
  • Talk to a third npc, again in a party of 2
  • Wrap to a map to kill the "tree boss"
  • Collect the drop and complete the quest

For your information when you're looking at the TMS data

• Quest involved: 8694 -> 8695 -> 8700 -> 8701 -> 8703
• Map involved: 749010000 (look under ossyria)

Exp rates for Kaede Castle mobs

Should we change the exp entries for the mobs to 100% instead of JMS's 125% exp rates? Or maybe just leave them as JMS rates until another version with regular exp rates gets this area.

Template:Icon

I'll leave this for now, since I haven't decided how we'll deal with non-country flags (and I've got to go out), and also because that image isn't an SVG. I'll see if I can do something about it this afternoon (GMT). In future though, could you be very careful when editing core templates such as {{icon}}, and only make an edit if you're sure you: know what you're doing, and have checked the edit carefully? You've unnecessarily put the job queue up to 600, and I'll have to increase it by 200 or more to fix your changes this afternoon. Image deletion

Why are you protecting the images before deleting them? If it's to prevent someone from uploading the same image again, I'm not sure if it keeps the protection (haven't tested) and even if it did, they can just change the filename by one letter to reupload it anywayz. -- Prod (Talk) 09:12, 15 October 2007 (CDT)
