Centering images[edit]

Instead of using <center> tags, you can use the |center parameter inside images. -- Prod (talk) 17:28, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

Car Hunt[edit]

Is the game Car Hunt unplayable (as indicated via template) or is it just really hard to find? A similar case is with Green Beret (1980), where it just seems like because no ROM exists with MAME doesn't mean like you couldn't scrounge to find a physical console somewhere. Feel like you'd know more about it than me. Trig - 02:31, 2 August 2022 (UTC)

It was unplayable in the sense unemulated until a French-language compilation featuring it and Deep Scan was added to version 0.161 of MAME on 29th April 2015; furthermore, as of version 0.220, which was released on 26th March 2020, the missing ROM of Irem's Green Beret has been dumped so it is now playable (Prod also updated its page to reflect this), and as of version 0.233, which was released on 1st July 2021, a German-language compilation seeing Car Hunt paired up with Invinco has also been added. Farewell[edit]

The knowledge that my style of writing is the subject of jokes on Twitter has just become too much for me to live with, so as of this day, I have officially retired from this site. Namcorules (talk) 00:00, 26 March 2023 (UTC)

Your guide writing may not be as appreciated on twitter, but you've been a great part of the site for a very long time. Some of the stuff you do really well is compiling data and screenshots from all these old games. That's extremely useful for some of these games, even if they don't have walkthrough pages written for them.
I also recently created {{Story}}, which is used on Gauntlet Dark Legacy. I know a lot of your guides had story sections, which this would help standardize layout for. -- Prod (talk) 00:44, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
