I know that it's in wikipedia's js, but do we really need this? {{DISPLAYTITLE}} can already account for 99.99% of the use cases of that js bit, and if we un-restrict it (via $wgRestrictDisplayTitle = false), then it will account for 100% of the use cases, no js needed. --Skizzerz 15:45, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Is Fishing a real game, or could it be mixed up with the game Angler Dangler? The only reference to Fishing I can find is on GameFAQs, and it has the same release date (1982) and publisher (Data East) as Angler Dangler, for which I can find at least a few other references. Also, not that it's comprehensive, but WP's list of arcade games contains Angler Dangler but not Fishing. I was wondering if you have some source on Fishing the game so we can fill out its infobox or change it to Angler Dangler. Thanks - najzereT 17:47, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
I was wondering if you even looked at the box art for the page you edited... File:Eternal Eyes NA Box Artwork.png. Most likely SunSoft was the native publisher for their game (in Japan), and released it to North America via Crave. --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 20:28, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I see the images I've kept contributing are starting to add up. I'm trying to point out specific parts of the dungeons in this game, and they require an extra dose of images to create a decent walkthrough. Text by itself doesn't really cover a dungeon in Zelda games. It makes sense with the images in place. Some may not be neccessary, but I don't want to chop the images down to a few here and there. There won't be as many in the other parts of the guide; I'm just building up to a decent walkthrough.

Sorry for bothering you. Just had to revert something nonconstructive.(Noryb989 20:36, 8 April 2009 (UTC))
I've noticed all the skill icons submitted were in dull color, mine was in iconMouseOver version, the original skill icon colors, yours were in the icon section. Would you want me to update every file you have uploaded so far?
Hi Prod. After finishing the campaign guide for Star Wars: Battlefront II I'm about to tackle the multiplayer maps. I think these pages will require a template similar to the one used in the walkthrough pages, with a few changes. I've looked at the existing template and can kinda see how it works, but still not sure how to make one that I want. If you could either give me a few pointers on how to make the below work or create the template for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Here's what I'm thinking. The "World" and "Environment" sections would remain, but the "Difficulty" and "Objectives" sections would be gone. Each map has four playable factions, and each have unique vehicles and a hero. So there could be four smaller boxes (maybe in two rows and two columns, the width of the entire table might have to increase a bit to accommodate them) for each faction, with heroes and vehicles being listed off inside them. It'd also be nice if there were additional boxes that only appeared for maps that have indigenous factions, but these are pretty rare so it's not strictly necessary. I might have things to add, but at the moment these are all the ones I can think of.
If you have additional ideas or feel that some things are unnecessary, please let me know. Thanks a bunch! Baejung92 (talk) 21:06, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Why did you remove Category:Marvel from X-Men? The X-Men are a Marvel property, like Spider-Man, Iron Man, ect.

I just noticed that the link for genres (the "all" link after genres) goes to the general game list. I could've sworn it went to the genres category before. RobJ1981 00:17, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
You say its part of the template. Are you sure? Did you check the list of games in the N64 and the Wii VC section? I checked and it's not there. Well if you want to keep it that way, I guess the only way people trying to find this game is through the Gamecube list section "Collector's Edition" if they want some help. I'm sure this is your intention but really check and prove that it's a good idea that Majora's Mask doesn't exist. I know I sound like a jerk but this is how I feel when something does go wrong. Johnnyauau2000 03:59, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
I have to say its still in the game list of both sections so I have to apologise for it. Speaking of which, can you do the same with the other Zelda games? I mean Majora's Mask is in the "T" section and the other Zelda games is in the "L" section and it will becoming confusing in the future so please? I don't want to end up getting mixed signals if this happens again. Thanks. Johnnyauau2000 04:09, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. I appreciate it. Let me know when it all works out. Johnnyauau2000 07:51, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't want to interrupt but if you have the time, can you check on Ghost Squad I made on the Wii with some help. It's really now just proof reading and make it like an article that anyone understands. In short, I hope you can help clean up the article and the missions I manage to put in. The reason is when I write stuff, I could leave spelling errors, bad grammars and maybe even bad presentation so I hope there is someone who is able to bring it up to, I don't know, strategy wiki standard. Whatever. So when they read it, they'll understand immediately what to do. I would've turn to DrBob but I presume he's busy so I hope you're available. Thanks. Hey, I did an export/import on Stormfront Studios from Wikipedia to here just to test it out. I was wondering if there is any benefit (besides easier access to the history) to using import over just linking to the WP page in an edit summary. As far as I know, the link is sufficient for attribution's sake, right? - najzereT 16:56, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
You said I should go to the chat to get help on the templates. I think you meant here...?
If this page isn't necessary, should I delete this one too? If so, why hasn't anyone poked me about this beforehand? I was under the impression that you just kind of need one there. --Arrow Windwhistler (talk) 02:07, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi Prod, I'm glad you removed the symbols in this diff. I've been meaning to argue about whether or not they are important. I.e. the header should represent all of the content under the header (i.e. 20-30 or 20+), and not represent an implied range (i.e. 20 to represent 20+). Since none of those Nihal Desert quests require exactly level 20, don't you agree that the header is wrong? --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 08:15, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey Prod, I was just wondering, am I allowed to add links from my personal online maplestory guide to the strategywiki Maplestory guides? I mean is it ok for me to do that withour going over the copyright infringement and everything? Sorry if this sounds a bit confusing... --Jezza 11:19, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Yea I'm making one huge map database on another wiki and since it's huge, I dont think it's a good idea to write everything here. At the moment, I'm linking some minor info to this site. --Jezza 23:07, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
I've created Notmybot (talk · contribs) for use with AWB. You wouldn't happen to know of a sandbox wiki that I could get accustomed to AWB with, do you? --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 19:55, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey, Skizzerz said I should ask you about this. Is it worthwhile to change the {{subst:BASEPAGENAME}} in the nav inserts to {{subst:#titleparts:{{subst:FULLPAGENAME}}|1}} so that it gives the proper game name on any level of subpaging? Also, what's the status on MultipleUpload? — najzereT 22:24, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
I was using Special:MergeHistory earlier and found that when pressing the button, it generates a line of:
"Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$rev_parent_id in /home/swiki/public_html/w/includes/Revision.php on line 312"
One for every mergeable edit, each adding to the break in the page that appears in the upper area of the page. Is this an extension? --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 23:46, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey Prod, I think I've asked you this in the past, but with the update you've just made, does this mean that you're able to extract the data yourself? Are you able to access images? --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 21:26, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey Prod, do you know of a working online edit counter for SW, or do you use your own server with scripts? --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 17:38, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
That's wasn't needed. There is no rule saying every post must be completely friendly. If you want that to be the case: place notes all over the site saying no one can ever be negative or the comment gets removed. RobJ1981 03:30, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Feel free to switch them around. I don't think I gave the issue much thought, I just ran into it while I was creating the pages and used the first solution that came to mind. --~Vizeroth · (c)~-- 14:09, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
