Hello Wikiman625! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking
or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- --Melon247 (talk · contribs · comp) 13:35, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Make sure you keep drivel out of the guide, meaning don't refer to yourself in the first person and don't use your username in the text. Read through some of the featured guides to get a feel for the style of writing to use in the wiki. Thanks, - najzereT 16:35, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Your test edit on AdventureQuest Worlds/Guru Forest worked and has been deleted. If you wish to test out the system and wiki markup, please use the sandbox instead. --najzereT 21:39, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Feel free to modify the table of contents on a page, but if you're deleting pages from the contents, it would be best to use a descriptive edit summary and/or point to a place that consolidates the contents into fewer pages. Thanks --~Vizeroth · (c)~-- 05:39, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Please do not post messages on user pages. That's why we have talk pages. --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 21:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm not sure why you are reverting Guru Forest since all I did was clean it up and introduce the same format for the other pages, but if you do so, I'll have to ask you to then go in and clean it up again. Reverting edits isn't the way to collaborate on a wiki. If you want to change something, you should add to it. Since none of the actual information has changed on the page, all you've done is reimplemented a page with various misspellings, incorrect headings and a format that is at odds with the other pages in the guide. - najzereT 21:17, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
To have a colourful sig, all you need to do is copy the following code into the Signature box under My Preferences:
<span style="color:green">Wiki</span><span style="color:blue">man</span><span style="color:yellow">6</span><span style="color:red">2</span><span style="color:gray">5</span>
Which turns out like this:
Wikiman625
Ta da! One colourful sig.--Melon247 (talk · contribs · comp) 18:56, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
To get the other bit of the signature in yours, you may have to create a user subpage. This is because it probably won't fit in the Signature box. So, what you need to do is copy this code to a user subpage (such as user:Wikiman625/sig):
<span style="color:green">Wiki</span><span style="color:blue">man</span><span style="color:yellow">6</span><span style="color:red">2</span><span style="color:gray">5</span> (<span style="color:green">talk</span>dot<span style="color:blue">Contribs</span>)
I haven't added the competition bit since that's one of my user subpages :). You can change the colour of the talk and contribs bits if you wish. After you've copied the code to your user subpage, in the Signature box you need to put . Since you asked, I uploaded the image using the upload log and then put in my sig. Obviously the image I used wasn't called "name of image". Aslo, why on my talk page did you sign your post as Wikidude123? --Melon247 (talk · contribs · comp) 08:59, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
