• Joystick: Use the 8-way joystick to direct Valkyrie (or Sandra if you're player 2) around the screen. The screen will scroll according to Valkyrie's location, so if you're player 2, you'll need to keep up.
• Firing Button: Use this button to make Valkyrie (or Sandra if you're player 2) fire the sword (or in Sandra's case, the trident) at the enemies. Hold it down to use magic.
• Jump Button: Use this button to make Valkyrie (or Sandra if you're player 2) jump.
• 1 or 2 Player Buttons: Push these buttons to begin a 1 or 2 player game.

The warrior maiden from the heavens who wields a sword and is controlled by the first player.

[edit] Sandra (サンドラ)

Valkyrie's green lizard sidekick. He wields a trident and is controlled by the second player.
