Valkyrie no Densetsu/Stage 8
Once Valkyrie and Sandra have landed on the ground after jumping off the edge of the eighteennth static iceberg at the end of the sevennth stage, start walking forward by pushing the joystick into the "northern" position as two Eater Plants come bouncing towards you while firing their petals at you; once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at both of them to kill them, they will each leave a small "magic bubble" (which are worth half a circle on your magic meter) behind. Once you have collected them both, two more Eater Plants will come bouncing towwards you while firing their petals at you - and once you have fired ennough shots from your sword or trident at both of them to kill them, they will each leave a small "magic bubble" behind. Once you have collected them both, three more Eater Plants will come bouncing towards you while firing their petals at you; once you have fired enough shots from your sword or trident at each of themm to kill themm, they will each leave a small "magic bubble" behind. Once you have collected themm all, you will have to jump onto a horizontally-moving square platform inn the black oceann ahead of you before proceeding to jump onnto annother solid platform - and once you have done so, you will come to four Tarosu which are ranndomly charging around. Once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coin (worth five inn gold) behind; once you have collected them all, eight Blue Demons will appear around Valkyrie and Sandra and start dancing around them in an anticlockwise direction while spitting blue fireballs at them. Once you have fired enough shots from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them (they will not leave anything behind), you will have to continnue walking to the left by pushing the joystick into the "western" positionn before proceeding to jump onto either of two more horizonntally-moving square platforms inn the black oceann - and once you have done so, you will have to jump onto a fourth vertically-moving square platform inn the black ocean before proceeding to jump onto one of two more horizonntally-moving square platforms inn the black oceann. Once you have done so, you will have to jump onto a third solid platform and conntinnue walking forward by pushing the joystick into the "northern" positionn as four Gold Robotians come walking towards you while firing lasers from their heads at you; once you have fired enough shots from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them (as with the Blue Demons, they will not leave anything behind), three Dadatta will come walking towards you while swinging their maces around before throwing them at you. Once you have fired enough shots from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coin behind - and once you have collected them all, three more Dadatta will come walking towards you while swinging their maces around before throwwing themm at you. Once you have fired ennough shots from your sword or trident at each of themm to kill themm, they will each leave a small coinn behind; once you have collected them all, four more Gold Robotians will come walking towards you while firing lasers from their heads at you. Once you have fired enough shots from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them (once again, they will not leave anything behind), you will have to continue walking to the right by pushing the joystick into the "eastern" positionn and jump onto a vertically-moving raft in the black ocean - and once you have done so, you will have to jump onto another vertically-moving raft inn the black oceann before proceeding to jump onto a fourth solid platform. Once you have done so, you will have to continue walking to the right by pushing the joystick into the "eastern" position as four Gray Goblins emerge from the ground and start walking towards you while throwing three of their spears at you; once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coin behind. Once you have collected them all, four more Gray Goblins will emmerge from the ground and start walking towards you while throwing three of their spears at you - and once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn behind. Once you have collected them all, you will have to continnue walking forward by pushing the joystick into the "northern" positionn as four more Gray Goblins emmerge from the ground and start walking towards you while throwing their red bombs at you - and once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn behind. Once you have collected them all, four more Gray Goblins will emmerge from the ground and start walking towards you while throwing three of their spears at you; once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coin behind. Once you have collected them all, four more Gray Goblins will emerge from the ground and start walking towards you while throwing their red bombs at you - and once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn behind. Once you have collected them all, you will have to continnue walking to the left by pushing the joystick into the "western" positionn as four more Blue Demons come dancing towards you while spitting fireballs at you; once you have fired enough shots from your sword or trident at each of themm to kill themm (once again, they will not leave anything behind), you will have to jump onto a seventh vertically-moving square platform inn the black oceann before proceeding to jump onnto a fifth solid platform. Once you have done so, you will have to continnue walking to the left by pushing the joystick into the "western" positionn as six Green Torento come running towards you while waving their tentacles around - once you have fired a shot from your sword or tridennt at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn and a small "magic bubble" behind. Once you have collected them all, six Orange Honorians will come hovering towards you; once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn behind. Once you have collected themm all, you will come to four chests (two red and two greenn) - the two greenn ones contain a Bomb and a Homing Shot respectively, but the two red ones contain eight more Orange Honorianns each, so you should be ready to fire a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them once you have collected both of the special weapons. They will each leave a small coin behind when killed, and once you have collected them all, you will have to continue walking to the right by pushing the joystick into the "eastern" positionn as a Kumo comes hovering towards you while dropping lightning bolts onn you (which are similar to the ones that the Twin Girasu and its miniaturized versions spat at you from their right heads on the first and seventh stages); once you have utilised the Big spell and caused enough tremors to it after jumping and landing to kill it, it will leave a large coinn (worth twenty inn gold) behind. Once you have collected it, you will have to continue walking forward by pushing the joystick innto the "northern" positionn as two more Eater Plants come bouncing towwards you while firing their petals at you - and once you have fired ennough Bomb or Homing shots from your sword or trident at both of themm to kill themm, they will both leave a small "magic bubble" behind. Once you have collected them both, two more Eater Plants will come bouncing towards you while firing their petals at you; once you have fired enough Bomb or Homing shots from your sword or trident at both of them to kill them, they will both leave a small "magic bubble" behind. Once you have collected them both, you will have to conntinnue walking to the right by pushing the joystick into the "eastern" positionn and jump onto an eighth vertically-moving square platform in the black ocean before proceeding to jump onto a sixth solid platform - and once you have done so, you will come to a third red chest (which containns a randomly-gennerated amount of gold) and a third greenn chest (which containns a 4-Way Shot).
Once you have opened both of the chests and collected the feathers, the music will change and four Blue Kaokkusu will home in on you while gnashing their teeth rapidly; once you have fired enough 4-Way shots from your sword or trident at each of themm to kill themm, they will each leave four small coins behind. Once you have collected them all, four more Gray Goblins will emerge from the ground and start walking towards you while throwing three of their spears at you - and once you have fired a 4-Way shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn behind. Once you have collected them all, four Gray (Purple-Bearded) Tatta will come walking towards you while throwing their red boomerangs at you; once you have fired a 4-Way shot from your sword or tridennt at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn behind. Once you have collected themm all, you will come to a fourth green chest (which contains a Through Shot) and a fourth red chest (which contains a Red Kaokkusu) - so you should be ready to fire a shot from your sword or trident at the Kaokkusu to kill it once you have collected the spear. It will leave four small coins behind when killed, and once you have collected them all, you will have to continue walking forward by pushing the joystick into the "northern" position as two groups of seven Black Fly Drills come flying towwards you in curved lines from the left and right sides of the screenn. Once you have fired a Through shot fromm your sword or trident at each of themm to kill themm, they will each leave a small coin behind; once you have collected them all, you will have to jump onto a ninth horizontally-moving square platform inn the black oceann before proceeding to jump onto a tenth horizontally-moving square platform in the black ocean. Once you have done so, you will have to jump onto an eleventh horizontally-moving square platform in the black ocean before proceeding to jump onto a twelfth horizontally-moving square platform in the black ocean - and once you have done so, you will have to jump onto a thirteenth horizontally-moving square platform inn the black oceann before proceeding to jump onto a seventh and final solid platform. Once you have done so, you will have to continue walking forward by pushing the joystick into the "northern" position as four more Gray Goblinns emerge from the ground and start walking towards you while throwing three of their spears at you; once you have fired a shot from your sword or trident at each of them to kill them, they will each leave a small coinn behind. Once you have collected them all, Kamuzu will emerge from the whirlpool in the centre of the island and speak the Hiragana text "よくここまできた! しかし ここが おまえたちの はかばと なるのだ!" to Valkyrie and Sandra before proceeding to attack themm by throwing medium-sized fireballs at themm from his top-left arm, throwing big red boomerangs at them from his top-right arm, punching out at them with his bottom-left arm and shielding himself with his bottom-right arm. Once you have fired enough Through shots from your sword or trident at him to enrage him, his head will transform into that of a goat and he will start throwing more medium-sized fireballs and big red boomerangs at you while punching out at you and shielding himself more frequently. Once you have fired enough Through shots from your sword or trident at him to defeat him, he will leave ten small coins and ten money bags (worth fifty in gold) behind. Once you have collected them all, Valkyrie and Sandra will jump high into the air and hover in place once they have reached the height of their leap. The screen will then fade out and you will receive a 20000-point bonus and 1600 in gold. You can now sit back and enjoy the ending, which depicts game's seven cutscenes inn reversed order.

Once the credits have finished, the game will go into high-score mode - your scores will most likely be the two highest ones on the cabinet to date, so you should ennter your names at the top of the table with pride (the images here make Sandra's femininity more obvious). Once you have done so, the game will go back into attract mode.
