Pose Mii is the fourth game in Wii Play. It requires you to fit your Mii into multiple bubbles that will score you points. But each type of bubble is different and requires you to twist and turn you Mii to fit it into the bubbles. You also have to change your poses by pressing A button or B button. There are 16 levels; each level has a unique wallpaper. Starting on Level 4, you will need to switch poses during the round. Starting on Level 7, you will need to use all three poses.

General[edit]

The objective is to pop bubbles that float downwards by positioning your Mii at the silhouette's angle in the bubble with the correct pose before they touch the bottom of the screen; if three bubbles are dropped, the game ends (you can check to see how many chances you have left by looking at how many waves are at the bottom of the screen). The rainbow bubble freezes all the other bubbles for a few seconds, allowing you to pop the bubbles as they are immobilized. Use this to your advantage especially when a lot of bubbles form on the screen at the same time (common in Levels 8, 12 & 15). After each level, you will be rewarded bonus points (5 times the level number; e.g. Level 3 = 15 points) if you do not drop a single bubble.

You can also tell which level you are on by the wallpaper. The level wallpapers are:

  • Level 1: Crocus
  • Level 2: Twin sparrows
  • Level 3: White cabbage butterfly
  • Level 4: Irises
  • Level 5: Pink rose
  • Level 6: Duck
  • Level 7: Hibiscus
  • Level 8: Honeybee and sunflower
  • Level 9: Peacock
  • Level 10: Dragonfly
  • Level 11: Crocodile
  • Level 12: Praying mantis
  • Level 13: Turtle
  • Level 14: Monarch butterfly
  • Level 15: Owl with one green eye and one red eye
  • Final Level (16): Sleeping lion

Level strategy[edit]

Level 1[edit]

This is a very easy level. You only need to use the first pose and the bubbles will move side to side a little bit as they float gently down. Every few bubbles you will have to change the angle of your Mii.

Level 2[edit]

This is very much like Level 1, as you only need to use one pose; however, you will instead need to use the second pose and the bubbles will move side to side a little faster.

Level 3[edit]

Use the third pose, and be careful; as the level progresses, the bubbles will gradually speed up!

Level 4[edit]

This level is a tutorial to use two poses during a round. The bubbles behave nearly the same as they do in Level 2, with poses changing every few bubbles.

Level 5[edit]

This level is much like Level 4 except towards the end of the level, the bubbles will begin to form towards the bottom of the screen.

Level 6[edit]

In this level, the bubbles will begin to turn either clockwise or counterclockwise immediately after they form. Towards the end of the level, the direction of the turn will change more often.

Level 7[edit]

This level is a tutorial to use all three poses in one round. The bubbles will slightly tilt to their sides as they descend.

Level 8[edit]

In this level, rainbow bubbles become especially essential as a lot of bubbles will appear on the screen at the same time. You may find it very helpful to first pop the rainbow bubble to immobilize the rest of the bubbles, then pop them. This will happen three times.

Level 9[edit]

In this level, all bubbles are upside down. Immediately when the level starts, turn your Mii upside down to position them in the bubble's silhouettes.

Level 10[edit]

The first few bubbles will contain the first pose, descending at a normal speed, followed by faster ones with the next pose, then much faster ones with the third pose turning clockwise, then counterclockwise. Finally, the bubbles will alternate turning clockwise and counterclockwise.

Level 11[edit]

All bubbles in this level will have their silhouettes positioned at a 45, 135, 225, or 315 degree angles and descend at a normal speed, forming all over the screen. Use a rainbow bubble to freeze the bubbles and pop them as you change the angle of your Mii.

Level 12[edit]

The first few bubbles will be almost at a 90 degree angle, followed by 0 degrees and 180 degrees, gradually speeding up. After that, the next few bubbles will be at a 135 degree angle, followed by fast 90 degree angled bubbles, then a swarm of bubbles descending at a normal speed. Find the rainbow bubble. Now pop the frozen bubbles. After that, it will become much easier to clear out the rest of the level.

Level 13[edit]

The first few bubbles will maintain a constant descent speed and angle, then the bubbles will begin to form upside down and rotate, gradually speeding up.

Level 14[edit]

In this level, the bubbles will descend very slowly but the bubbles will form in groups at different angles in different poses. Rainbow bubbles are very essential when multiple groups form.

Level 15[edit]

This level is much like a combination of all the previous; it combines the strategies needed. The first few bubbles will maintain the same angle, start rotating, then form a group of four with different angles. After that, the bubbles will form one at a time, gradually speeding up, followed by a swarm of upside-down bubbles. Find the rainbow bubble to freeze and clear out the screen. Finally, all bubbles will form upside down and rotate as they descend.

Final Level[edit]

This level is obviously the hardest of them all. The bubbles will form very quickly and in different poses. As soon as the rainbow bubble forms, pop it to freeze the screen and clear it. Repeat this process until the level is over.

2 players[edit]

The game can also be played with a second player. In two player if you pop your opponent's bubble you get double points, and if you pop the rainbow colored bubble the bubbles and the other player will freeze for a few seconds for you to move around and pop the bubbles by your self. If one player drops their color bubble, their opponent gets to steal (5 times the level number) of points.
