The first makes you completely invincible to everything save heat and spikes; however, despite Biomeka’s buzzsaw looking very spiky indeed, you are oblivious to it!
The second lets you run like the wind, often zooming right past your destination. However, with this you can find some things that are... strange, to say the least...
NOTE that jumping enemies will often zip over your head, land in water, and constantly respawn (etc.) and boulders will roll unusually fast, so you may wish to turn it off for some points.
BIG WARNING: in places with lots of hills etc. (especially. Maugham Desert) you can build up such speeds that you will disappear through the floor!
