  • Left dpad/Right dpad : walk in that direction.
  • Up dpad : enter a door
  • Down dpad : crouch, leave through a door
  • A button+Left dpad/Right dpad : use equipped item/magic
  • B button : Attack
  • C button : Jump
  • Start button : open the menu
  • Up dpad + B button : spin attack (Small Spear, Battle Spear, and Trident only)

[edit] Master System

  • Left dpad/Right dpad : walk in that direction.
  • Up dpad : enter a door

  • 1 button : Attack
  • 2 button : Jump
  • Pause button : open the menu
