The paladin has three talent trees. These are Holy, Protection and Retribution. **Note: Most end game guilds prefer Holy/Protection

Holy[edit]

The Holy tree is mostly focused on increasing Healing and Caster Related buffs. The Holy tree is the most desirable tree for end-game raiding for Paladins, because of spells like Divine Favor (when activated, it gives a 100% crit chance on Holy Light, Flash of Light and Holy Shock spells), and when combined with Illumination replenishes 60% of the base mana cost of those spells.

Protection[edit]

The Protection tree is designed for more PVE and even some PVP situations. Protection is mostly specialised in helping the Paladin to tank. It also helps in defense, damage mitigation, damage return and one-handed weapons. In this tree you get talents such as Blessing of Kings (the best blessing for paladins to get), Blessing of Sanctuary (a blessing which is just like the Retribution Aura), and Holy Shield (a talent which increases your chance to block and deals holy damage in the process).

Retribution[edit]

The Retribution tree is designed to do damage. For those that like to quest solo, this tree is a viable option.
