You now know that the Go-Rock's prototype Styler can capture legendary Pokémon, what will you do to stop their plans of making more Stylers?
To Fall City[edit]
As you are going out of the Summerland Ranger Base, you get a message from Prof. Hastings telling you to come to the Fall City Ranger Base immediately. Take the Dragonite Bus to Fall City and you will land in front of the Ranger Base and Prof. Hastings comes out to talk to you. He says the Go-Rock Squad is making their new Stylers at the Dusk Factory and you must investigate the situation with him. Walk to the right of the base then down the stairs and go to the right to get to the factory.
Investigate the Factory![edit]
Prof. Hastings says that you have to turn off the power to prevent the Go-Rock Squad from making more Stylers. Head into the factory once Prof. Hastings figures out the password.
Go to the back of the factory and you will find a new Pokémon, Voltorb. Near the Voltorb is a Meowth and further past down is a Makuhita. You need to keep both as you need their field moves later on.

Once you captured them then go back to the front and go inside the right most door. Go up and to the left and use Meowth's field move to break thevwooden fence. There is a Growlithe here but you can't capture it yet. Go up into the next room which has a grunt and two Voltorb in your way.

Once you captured the Voltorb, the grunt will flee. Use Makuhita's field move on the box and an opening will appear. Go down it and now you can capture the Growlithe

Jump off the conveyor belt and go back into the where you faced the grunt and proceed to the next room. When you walk outside you find familiar faces, the Go-Rock Quads!
You find out that they were just practicing and Garrett will stay behind to oversea things at the factory. Head head left to go back into the factory then go through the door to find a generator.
Prof. Hastings then wants to shut it down. To do so, Hastings says that you need to rescue the Pikachu inside the cage. To break the cage you a need Pokémon with 2x which you don't have yet. Go up through the door to the next room. In this room you will a new Pokémon, Mr. Mime! Go around the room and exit on the left side. Continue going left and you run into a grunt with 2 Mr. Mime.

After defeating the grunt go left into the next room. In this room you will find another new Pokémon, Hypno! Keep the Hypno to help with a future capture. There is also a Magneton here if you need to charge your Styler.

Be careful to not get hit by its attack are you will be confused and moving your character will be hard. Stay to the tge right and go up. You will see an object that be removed with 2x but you don't have that yet so go up the stairs. You are now on the rooftop. There is a Pinsir which has that 2x you were looking for so capture it. There are also Wingulls and you can capture them if you need the Poké Assist.

In the top left corner of the rooftop is a grunt looking off the roof. She attacks you with a Slakoth.

Once finished with the grunt, go back to the generator and use Pinsir's field move on the cage. Once the Pikachu is free the lights in the factory dim and Prof. Hastings says you have to find another generator. Go up through the door again and upon entering the room Gastly appear!

The Gastly will possess your friend Pokémon and you won't be able to use them anymore as they run away. Cautiously go to exit on the left side of the room. In the next room just go left into the next room. In this room, again be careful of the Gastly and go down to the lower wall then go left until you see a door to the next room. Follow the path down and you will run into a grunt with a Muk and 2 Beldum.

Start off by using Minun/Plusle's Poké Assist to paralyze the Pokémon and capture the 2 Beldum. If you are having trouble with the Muk then use Hypno's Poké Assist to help out. Go up through the door and you will be in a room with a Houndoom and Pichu. The Houndoom has your 2x that you've been looking for. Capture the Pichu if you need to recharge your Styler. Go out of the room and go left and up the path through the door to the next room. Go up and to the right where the stairs to the rooftop are and use Houndoom's field move to melt the scrap metal so you can go down the stairs. Go down the stairs to the next to find a grunt with a Machoke and 2 Machop.

If you still have your Hypno then this battle is simple. Instantly use Hypno and if you are quick enough then you can capture all 3 Pokémon in one go. If not then capture the two Machop and go for the Machoke on the second try. Once done go down and into the next room. Keep going down and you'll find another grunt with 8 Rattata.

Quickly make one big loop and you should get all the Rattata as they only require one loop. Once done then go down into the next room. The door to the left is locked and the path down leads you out of the factory so the only way is to go through the door to the right. In this room there are sliders which you need to step on correctly to reach the other side.
Follow these steps to get a Pinsir and reach the end:
- Go to the sliders on the right and take the bottom row
- Go around the block to the right and follow the path until you get to the sliders on the left
- Take the bottom row and capture the Pinsir
- Take any slider below you to get back to the beginning and redo steps 1+2 but pass the sliders on the left and go up all the wall until you reach a block
- Take either slider to the right
- Go up to the right and go left. Take the bottom row on the left
- Take the next bottom on the left
- Go up and take the top row on the right
- Go up to the right and take the left column
You are now out of the puzzle so just go left and go through the door to the next room. The next room is another generator with a captured Pikachu. Use Pinsir's field move to free it. With this generator out the sliders are turned off and you can walk straight down into the next room. Now go through the left most door as it's open.
In this room capture a Machoke as you need its Poké Assist then make your way to the bottom left corner to go down the stairs to the next room. Follow the path until you see a red button which Prof. Hastings pushes and a grunt with an Ariados and a Crobat comes out.

Use Plusle/Minun's Poké Assist and capturing these 2 Pokémon is simple. Go into the room that the grunt came out of and you'll find another new Pokémon, Scyther.

Once captured go out of the room and follow the path right to the next door to go through. In the next room is a cage with a Raichu. Use Scyther's field move to free it. Prof. Hastings says that your work is done here and you can leave the factory. Go out of the room and follow the path to the left then go up the stairs to the next room. Make your way to the right corner of the room. On your way there you will be stopped by Garrett who is annoyed of the mess that you created. He then throws a Scizor at you.

This capture is difficult and takes time as Scizor jumps on your line alot. Get your partner gauge up to maximum then use Minun/Plusle's Poké Assist to paralyze it and immediately use Machoke's Poké Assist afterwards to make your loop count double.
Once captured, Garrett will say that turning off the factory was a waste of time as his boss is already producing the Power Styler at their hideout. He then leaves and Prof. Hastings says that it's cruel to use his research. Since the factory is turned off, he says the mission is now done.
