To complete the game and see the ending, you must now place 8 eight jewels on the altar in the correct order to restore peace to the world. The only help you receive to figure out the order if by collecting the Clue Scrolls from the first seven castles.

This page will walk you through how to interpret the clues and come to the right answer. Note that one jewel, the Blue jewel that you obtain from The House of Ruth is never mentioned. Also note that it is easy to confuse the Purple jewel with the Blue jewel. The Purple jewel is presented before the Blue jewel, and the Blue jewel is presented last.

Black is on the far right
This clue is self-explanatory, and it is the basis for the rest of the clues.
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? Black
Black is next to Red
With Black on the far right, Red must be placed to the left of Black.
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? Red Black
Purple is next to Red
Since Black is already to the right of Red, Purple must be to the left, making the sequence on the right side: Purple, Red, Black.
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? Purple Red Black
Between Green and Purple are two jewels
Since Purple occupies the sixths position from the right, green must occupy the third, leaving two spaces between them.
??? ??? Green ??? ??? Purple Red Black
White is next to Yellow
This clue alone does not help you very much, but combined with the following clue...
Between Black and White, there is no yellow
Since Black is located on the far right side, White must be somewhere to the left. Therefore, Yellow must occur to the left of White.

That creates two possible solution sets:

Yellow White Green ??? ??? Purple Red Black

or

??? ??? Green Yellow White Purple Red Black
White, Orange, and Purple are all separated
This clue indicates that White cannot occupy the fifth position next to Purple so the second arrangement above is not allowed. That leaves the Orange and Blue jewels. Since Orange must be separate from Purple, it can't occupy the fifth position, so it must occupy the fourth, leaving Blue for the fifth position:
Yellow White Green Orange Blue Purple Red Black
