A.I.M. 2: Clan Wars is the single-player action-RPG sequel to A.I.M.: Artificial Intelligence Machines developed by SkyRiver Studios. Set immediately after the events of the first game, A.I.M. 2 is an action-RPG and simulation hybrid, combining vehicle-based progression with a real-time economy, inter-faction warfare (base capturing, economic sabotage, etc.), and limited real-time strategy elements.

The game expands on the original in several ways:

  • Clans now fight over the various territories of Polygon, trading between bases, battling enemy factions, and capturing bases through "convincing" captured mechminds or economic sabotage.
  • The player can also lead their own clan, participating in the battle for Polygon and commanding their forces individually through in-game chat commands.
  • There is now a real-time economy system. Clans attempt to supply their production facilities with goods, and you can either help by selling them what they need, or hinder them by destroying enemy gliders or buying up all their supplies.
  • The player can now specialize in one of three areas: Warrior (combat-oriented), Trader (trade-oriented), or Currier (jack-of-all-trades). Any gliders past the first rank will modify the player's specialization.

There are also smaller improvements, such as an enhanced map which supports user-defined waypoints, and procedurally-generated side-quests. Template:Continue Nav
