Overview
Nookipedia
When you start the game, you will be on a train, and a cat will sit across from you and ask you some questions which will determine what you look like, your name, and town name. Then the train will stop and you will get off. As you leave the train station, a Tanuki (often mistaken for a raccoon in America)named Tom Nook (American Version) will talk to you and lead you to a small complex of 4 houses. You will get to choose one and then he will give a series of short jobs to do (It is basically a short tutorial). Consisting of mailing letters, advertising, saying hello, planting flowers and trees etc. Once you are done, he will subtract a short total from your loan. Now, you can do basically whatever you want. You can get the money to pay off the loan by selling him stuff you don't need such as unwanted furniture or fish that you caught. You will want to pay off your loan fast because your house is small, and the only way to make it bigger is to pay off your loan. Tom Nook's store is small at first, but will expand on buying and selling a certain amount of bells. When he expands, he will send you a letter in the game and posts on the board in front of town hall in. His stores go from Nooks Cranny, to Nook'n Go (convinience store), to Nookway (market), to finnaly Nookingtons ! A large 2 story department store. All of his stores open at 9:00 am and close at 10:pm exept Nook'n Go. Which opens at 7:00 and closes at 11:00.
Animal Crossing is a simulation game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. It was originally released exclusively in Japan as Animal Forest for the Nintendo 64 on April 14, 2001. It was then ported and re-released for the Nintendo GameCube in December, 2001, again exclusively in Japan, as Animal Forest+. It was later released in other countries in 2002-2004. A final version, titled Animal Forest e+, was released in Japan in 2003.

Making bells
Animal Crossing is the first game compatible with the short-lived e-Reader.
In the game, the currency is called bells. Each bell alone will not be able to buy you anything because of the bell's low value, you will need generally anywhere from 800-5,000 bells for a peice of furniture. However, you will get a large amount of bells for what you sell. You will also need to pay off your loan to Tom Nook with bells so once you have finished working for him, you should get to work and make some bells!

Fruit
As a real-life simulation video game, Animal Crossing revolves around you—the player—as you live day-by-day in a town full of animals. However, up to four humans can live in a town at a time. Just like the real world players must run errands, earn money, and even pay debt. This game then birthed a sequel with the Nintendo DS game, Animal Crossing: Wild World (おいでよどうぶつの森, Come to Animal Forest).
Fruit is the most basic way to make money in Animal Crossing, however, it has its limits. The amount of money you make off fruit is determined by how many fruit trees you have and your town can only squeeze in so many fruit trees in the town and it takes 3 days for each fruit tree to replenish it's fruit. If you want to make some money using fruit, start off by taking anything in your equipment slot off, and putting all the stuff in your inventory into your house. Now step outside, and you will find a lot of trees that have fruit on them. The fruit on your trees are the town's native fruit. It will sell for only 100 bells but you have a large number of them in your town already. To begin, walk up to a tree and press A. Your character will shake the tree and three fruits will fall out. Walk up to the fruit and pick them up. Do this 4 more times, and then walk over to Nook's shop and go inside. Talk to Nook, tell him you want to sell, and then use the Y button to select each one and then select sell. You should get 1,500 bells for your entire inventory! Now you can repeat this until there is no fruit left in your town. If you have bought a shovel from Nook's, you can dig holes and bury fruit in them to plant trees! These will grow into full pledged fruit trees in less than a week. This is good money when you start the game, but as you advance further into the game and you have multi hundred thousand bell loans, this will start to become less and less useful. That's where non-native fruit come in. To start with, there is zero non native fruit in your town. But over time, villagers might sell you some for a few thousand bells, or you might take one from a friends town. You should plant it, and use all the fruit to plant more non-native fruit until you think you have enough. Now, when you sell your non-native fruit, you will get not 100, not 200, but 500 bells! That gets you 7,500 bells for each full load of fruit!

Bugs and Fish
Artwork
Bugs and fish are a great way to make bells but they are inconsistent sources. Most bugs and fish will only sell for a few hundred bells but there are a few that will sell in the thousands such as the red snapper. To do either of these, you must buy a net or fishing rod. Theres a few fish that sell for 10,000 to 15,000 bells. Such as the Colencanth.

Bugs are generally a lot harder to get money from, since the only common ones are butterflys which sell for little usually. Once you have your net, equip it. You need to look around for bugs flying in the air and bugs on trees. Once you find one, walk up to it and press A to swing your net.

Fish
To catch a fish, you must first head to a body of water. Once you are there, walk up and down it until you see a shadow in the water. Face your character a little bit ahead of the fishes head and press A to cast out your line. If your character does not cast his/her line, move back a little and try again. Once the fish sees the bait, it will head toward it and take nibbles. You need to watch carefully. When the fisbites the line and shakes it, accompanied with a sound, you need to press the A button and hold it. If you timed it right, your character will catch it, hold it up, and make a witty comment. Then you can go and sell it to Nook.

Favors
ToC
This is by far one the worst ways to make money in the game but you can get the furniture you need for your house doing this. Go around town and ask the villagers if they need you to do a favor for them. Some of them will say no, but once you find a villager who says yes, you should go out and do their task. The tasks will mostly be delivering stuff or retreiving things from fellow animals so your town map will be handy. Start by going to the house of the animal that you need to talk to. If they are not around the house, start looking around the animal. Once you find him/her, talk to them and do whats needed. Then come back to the animal that gave you the favor and give them their item or tell them that you've delivered it. The animal should give you a gift such as stationary or furniture which you can sell to Nook.

Stalk Market
This is the turnip trading game. It is sort of like legal gambling in Animal Crossing. Every sunday morning, there will be a character called Joan in your town. If you speak to her, she will offer a detailed explanation of the turnip market. This is useful the first or so time that you but turnips but is too lenthy to go through everytime you buy turnips. She basically says that every sunday, she comes into town to sell her turnips at around 90 bells apiece. Then, every other day of the week(Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday, andSaturday)you can go to Nook and ask him the turnip price. Most days, it will be below 90 bells. But, occasionally he will have a spike, or an unusually high price such as 280! On these days you can sell your turnips and reap the profits! Be warned though, your turnips will only remain fresh for a week. The sunday after you buy them, your turnips will spoil.
Island Scheme
If you have a Game Boy Advance, then you can connect it using the GBA and GCN cable! Connect it to controller slot 4. Turn the gameboy on. You should now head to Acre F,5 and on your way there bring fruits, furniture, and tools (shovel, fishing rod, bug net). You should see a turtle in a boat. His name is Kapp'n (also known as Kappa in Japan) You should hear him sing and wait for the island to apear. Once there bury the furniture and drop all of the fruit and tools. Now, download the island to your GBA. Now, feed your islander tons of fruit. He should have dropped money bags unless he/she at the fruit he/she was allergic to. If that happens you shoul;d see a skull above there heads and STOP! Shake tree's and feed him/her coconuts. If your islander picks up a rod he can go fishing and catch a rare NESS games. If a present flies by he can catch it with a net. Now, dig make the islander dig up the furniture. He should replace it with something else. Now, back to the GCN (keep the GBA on!) Exit acre F,5 and come back. Talk to Kapp'n and head to the island. Pick up the money and if you are lucky you should have gotten a few 10,000-30,000 bell bags. Dig up the furniture, if you find any island themed items, Wario's Woods, or Baseball then good job! These are extremely rare and you should KEEP them. If you repeat this process you should pay of your debts in no time!

Secrets
There are many Secrets that can be uncovered in Animal Crossing, it's taken years for me to find them! Luckily this section will Explain them all.
Sleepwalking
If an animal reads you a letter he/she will ocassionaly fall asleep. IN a house, they will start to walk around with their head looking down. They will occasionaly stop and stand there. If you talk the will act like if they don't know where they are.
Blanca
Sometimes, while you are travelling to another town, instead of Rover apearing you get Blanca. She apears randomly with a random shirt every time. She will ask you to draw a new face! She can be seen walking around with her new face in the Town you traveled to. She can stay there for weeks just roaming around!
Old Villager
Sometimes, a few days after someone moves out of your town. You will se them visiting (not in igloo or tent) They will talk to you and will disapear if you leave the acre.
