Recommended for action game veterans. Enemies are stronger and you will take damage when your Legion does.

The X-Baton is the standard weapon used for attacking by pressing . It can change modes by pressing or .

Baton Mode

Fast melee attacks that are effective against quick enemies.

Blaster Mode

Long range attacks that are ideal for flying enemies.

Gladius Mode

Slow but powerful melee attacks that can break through an enemy's guard.

Side Cases

There are two types of side cases, red and blue. Red cases are major cases that affect the evaluation at the end of a file. When completing one, a rank from D to S+ is given based on your performance. Blue cases are minor cases that reward extra duty points.

Double Defeat	Fighting	Defeat two or more enemies simulatneously to receive a bonus.
Finishing Touch	Fighting	Use a core-destroying finishing move on a chimera to receive a bonus.
Multiple Legions	Fighting	After defeating an enemy with one Legion, defeat the next with a different Legion. Keep up the chain for a bigger bonus.
Full Arsenal	Fighting	After defeating an enemy with with one X-Baton mode, defeat the next with a different mode. Keep up the chain for a bigger bonus.
Faulty Footwork	Special Actions	Take damage during dodges to receive a bonus.
Standing Strong	Special Actions	Refrain from dodging at all to receive a bonus.
Sloppy Strikes	Special Actions	Attack a lot, even if you don't hit anything, to receive a bonus.
Naked Eye	Special Actions	Refrain from using your IRIS at all throughout a case to receive a bonus.
Running on Empty	Special Actions	Run out of Legion limiter energy several times to receive a bonus.
Accident-Prone	Special Actions	Fall frequently (but always get back up!) to receive a bonus.
Working Overtime	Special Actions	Take a long time clearing a case to receive a bonus.
Takin' it Easy	Special Actions	Stand still for a long time to receive a bonus.
Sync Attacker	Sync Attacks	Hit enemies with Sync Attacks to receive a bonus.
Sync Attack Master	Sync Attacks	Hit enemies with several different Sync Attacks to receive a bonus.
Dodge and Sync	Sync Attacks	Perform a Sync Attack after a Perfect Dodge to receive a bonus.
Drop and Sync	Sync Attacks	When an enemy knocks you down, perform a Sync Attack just before you land to break your fall and receive a bonus.
Legion of Legions	Legion	Switch Legions several times to receive a bonus.

Long-Range Only	Tactics	Attack enemies from beyond a certain distance away to receive a bonus.

Medicine Master	Tactics	Use recovery items several times to receive a bonus.
Chain of Command	Tactics	Use a command skill for both the player and all Legions types to receive a bonus.
Headshot	Tactics	Perform a headshot with the Arrow Legion to receive a bonus.
Perfect Call	Tactics	Perform a Perfect Call to receive a bonus.
Backstab	Tactics	Perform a critical attack by hitting any enemy from behind with the player or Legion to receive a bonus.
Stealth Attack	Tactics	Attack an enemy without being seen to receive a bonus.
Stunning	Tactics	Stun enemies during battle to receive a bonus. The more times you stun them, the bigger the bonus!
Limiter Expert	Conservation	Keep limiter energy above 50% throughout a case to receive a bonus.
Item Hoarder	Conservation	Refrain from using items throughout a case to receive a bonus.
Chain Bind	Astral Chain	Perform a successful Chain Bind to receive a bonus.
Multi Chain Bind	Astral Chain	Use a Chain Bind on two or more enemies at once to receive a bonus.
Chain Counter	Astral Chain	Perform a successful Chain Counter to receive a bonus.
Resourceful	Stealth	Distract a guard by throwing an empty can to receive a bonus.
