Unlock Characters (PS1)[edit]
Enter the following codes before the game mode text is sliding to the center:

Gaia must be unlocked before Sho can be unlocked.
An easy way of entering both codes is booting the game up and entering the Gaia code. Next, wait until the demo starts and skip it by pressing 
on the Player 2 controller. Lastly, enter the Sho code.
Unlocking either character will have the announcer say "Fight".
The text color of the game modes on the main menu will turn red when Gaia is unlocked and light blue when Sho is unlocked.
To play as Gaia, select Eiji while holding 
.
To play as Sho, select Kayin while holding 
.

Unlock Characters[edit]
At the Press Start screen, enter the following code:
Entering the code correctly is signified by Ellis laughing when you hit , along with the game modes showing up.
This will unlock Gaia, Sho, and Cupido. While Gaia and Sho appear on the character select screen, Cupido is hidden. To select Cupido, holding while selecting Sho.

Unlock Gaia and Sho[edit]

Scorcher Mode[edit]

while Ellis appears during the intro. The characters will move at high speed.
Full Battle Mode[edit]
Press while Ellis appears during the intro. All characters will be unlocked, including Gaia II and Uranus.
Text Mode[edit]
Press while Ellis appears during the intro. You can view all character dialogue.

Unlock Characters[edit]
Enter the following codes while the game mode text is sliding to the center:

A ding sound effect will play when the code is entered correctly.
When characters are unlocked, the menu cursor changes color. The cursor is light blue when Uranus and Master unlocked, the cursor turns red when Sho and Vermilion are unlocked.
To select hidden characters, move the cursor over the random select button. Holding 
will slow downs the roulette pf characters to better choose.
