Once Beraboh Man has made it back to dry land, the background has reappeared behind him and his energy bar at the bottom of the screen has refilled, start running to the right and watch out for the five Umbrellas floating down on you from above as you pass under them. A Dango will be waiting for you at the top of the half-staircase leading upwards to the stage's dojo; give it a kick as it comes bouncing down towards you before collecting the Fuku it has left behind and jumping up to the half-staircase. Once you have reached the top, a Kago will be creeping slowly towards you and a Karasu Tengu will be hovering through the air just before a Tekyuu moving up and down in a fixed position - jump up and kick the Karasu Tengu and punch the Kago twice to defeat her before collecting the Fuku they have left behind and jumping over the Tekyuu. As you continue running to the right, you will encounter three Green Ninjas and eventually come to a statue of Buddha - Pistol Daimyo will appear behind it and set up an invisible wall which will not go away until he is defeated. He will hover up and down in a fixed position behind the statue, firing missiles from his pistol at Beraboh Man; you will also have to watch out for Babito emerging from cracks in the ground during this fight. Although Beraboh Man's torso cannot penetrate the invisible wall, his bionic limbs can - so you will have to jump up onto the statue in order to get a clear shot at him. It takes five hits to bring him down on the first time, and three hits on the second and third times. Once he has been defeated, the invisible wall will disappear and you can move on. Once you have run down another half-staircase leading downwards, five Purple Ninjas will come hopping towards you on their pogo sticks just before four tree trunks of varying sizes; give each of them a punch to kill them before collecting the Fuku they have left behind and jumping over the tree trunks. Once you have made it to the other side of these tree trunks, you will have to fight Hanzou Hattori for the first time. This shuriken-like ninja will fly randomly around the screen in an attempt to collide with Beraboh Man, and you will have to jump up and kick him four times in order to bring him down. Once you have done so, crouch down and quickly headbutt him three times to defeat him completely - because, like the Kikyuu, he will soon get back up again. Three Popo will come slithering towards you once you have jumped over another tree trunk; crouch down and give each of them a headbutt to kill them before collecting the Fuku they have left behind. Two Kakure Mino will also be about to land on you just before you have to fight your first Goaan. These white-haired ninja masters take six hits to kill and can only be attacked from behind - meaning you will have to jump over one as he is pushing his way towards you and kick him in the back as you are about to land. At the end of the stage, Fukubiki Man will greet Beraboh Man and give him one Onigiri energy bonus for every ten Fuku he has collected during the stage. Once he has cycled away, Beraboh Man will proceed to the ninth stage - which is the first of the Bonus Collection variety.
