To properly access the following codes, enter the provided input while the title screen ("Bubble Bobble" inside of a yellow cloud) is visible.
- Powered up - LEFT JUMP LEFT 1P LEFT BUBBLE LEFT 1P
- The title screen will display "POWER UP!" along the bottom. You will play through the game with the effects of the blue and yellow candy, as well as the sneakers. Even if you lose a life, you will continue to keep these powers.
- Easy mode - BUBBLE JUMP BUBBLE JUMP BUBBLE JUMP RIGHT 1P
- The title screen will display "ORIGINAL GAME..." along the bottom. In this mode, you will be granted access to the secret bonus rooms even if you lose a life.
- Super Mode - 1P JUMP BUBBLE LEFT RIGHT JUMP 1P RIGHT
- The word "Super" will be added to the title screen. When you begin the game, select Super Mode to play through the usual 100 levels at a higher difficulty, for a chance at seeing the True & Happy Ending.

- Level select passwords - EECJJ (Regular) or EECFG (Super)
- By entering these passwords, you can then increase or decrease the continue level to the desired level that you would like to begin a one or two player game from.
