Capcom Generations 1: Wings of Destiny was published in Europe by Virgin Interactive for the Sony PlayStation. It was originally published in Japan by Capcom in 1998 as Capcom Generation 1: Dai 1 Shuu Gekitsuiou no Jidai (カプコン ジェネレーション －第1集 撃墜王の時代－? Capcom Generation Collection 1: The Era of Flying Aces) for both the Sony PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. It is the first volume in a five volume compilation series.
