- All monsters are numbered in the order of Level (ascending) -> Language alphabet (ascending). The "PS num" is used in NA/EU PSX version, and the "SS num" is used in Sega Saturn version.
- Some monsters are only available in Sega Saturn version, in which case the "PS num" will be "n/a".
- While some of the monsters have "water element" in description, none of the players can use that.
- Monsters give more than listed EXP if Alucard has a level lower than them, and vice versa. The least value of EXP obtained is 1.
- If a monster has a secret drop, it will be shown as "????" until you make it appear. A common drop is always visible.
- Richter and Maria cannot gain any EXP or monster drop. (except the Axe Knights, not confirmed if they drop the Axe) They may get hearts and useless money however.
