The Banjo-Kazooie games are a series of 3D platform/adventure video games created by Rare in 1998. The game stars a bear named Banjo and a bird named Kazooie who go on numerous adventures to stop the evil plans of the witch Gruntilda.

There are currently five games in the series, including the non-canonical Game Boy Advance racing game Banjo-Pilot; the newest game is Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, released for the Xbox 360 in November 2008.

Banjo made his first appearance in Diddy Kong Racing, a year before the series began.
